It is ideal for readers of English books, learners building active vocabulary, and professionals reading international articles.

SentiaRead supports EPUB, PDF, TXT, and Markdown files, alongside podcast transcripts and YouTube video subtitles. You can also import web articles via our browser extension or paste text directly from your clipboard. All library content supports in-context lookups, sentence simplification, and automatic vocabulary highlighting. Podcasts and videos feature synced captions, notes, and instant lookups.

Files: use Import in the library, or on a computer drag an EPUB, PDF, TXT or Markdown file onto the window. On phones and E-Ink readers, open the file from your file manager and choose SentiaRead. Web articles: paste the link into the import field, or use Share in your browser and pick SentiaRead. On a computer, install the Chrome extension and save the article from the page itself. Pages behind a login or paywall usually cannot be read this way. Text: copy anything, choose Import from clipboard in the library, and paste. It is saved as a clipping. Pasting a link only saves the link as text, it does not fetch the page. Whatever you import on one device is readable on the others as soon as you sign in with the same account.

Highlight any word or phrase and the AI coach instantly generates the most relevant explanation based on the surrounding text. You can tailor the difficulty (A1-C2 CEFR level) or even stay fully in English for immersive practice. For example: • Traditional dictionary: "run" has 20+ definitions, leaving you to guess which applies • SentiaRead: In "The program runs smoothly," "run" means "to execute or operate" (explained with B1-level vocabulary if that is your setting) This is i+1 comprehensible input: every explanation sits comfortably within your reach.

Yes. When a sentence slows you down, tap Reading Assist and SentiaRead rewrites it into a simpler version that keeps the original meaning. It is a faithful restatement, not a summary, so nothing is dropped. The rewrite follows the i+1 comprehensible input principle: the simplified sentence stays just within your reach instead of pushing you somewhere harder.

When you add a word to the "Learning" list, it is highlighted automatically across everything you read afterwards. Seeing it in multiple authentic contexts reinforces recall far better than rote memorization.

No. Kindle is a closed system that does not run Android apps. For reading with SentiaRead, we recommend open Android devices like Onyx Boox.

Free is a complete reader on its own: library, reading and notes are all there, plus a weekly allowance of AI credits for in-context lookups and explanations. AI is not locked behind Plus. Plus removes the credit ceiling. Lookups, translation, AI explanations and short-text generation become unlimited under fair use, and you also get cloud sync across devices, multimedia ingestion (transcription and text-to-speech), 120 minutes of high-quality read-aloud voice per month, advanced notes and priority support.

Yes! Your Plus subscription is tied to your account, not to any specific device or platform. Whether you subscribe on iPhone, Mac, or Android, the benefits apply everywhere you sign in. There is no limit on the number of devices. You can be signed in and using SentiaRead on multiple devices at the same time.

On iPhone and iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and manage it through your Apple ID. On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions. On macOS and Windows: open Settings inside the app and go to Account.

All payments are handled by trusted payment providers, never by us directly. On iPhone and iPad you pay through the App Store, and on Android through Google Play. On macOS, Windows, and the web, payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS certified payment platform used by millions of businesses worldwide. SentiaRead never sees or stores your card details.

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and Plus stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies. For purchases made through Stripe, email support@sentiaread.com and we will help you sort it out. Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable local laws.

SentiaRead does not collect your browsing history. When you trigger a lookup or save vocabulary, the current page URL and title are processed as learning context. On startup, your IP address is used only to infer a coarse country code for routing to the nearest service region. We never sell user data.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell user data. Our Privacy Policy spells out exactly what we store and why.
